This year's book fair is over and has again left us with a real good feeling. Like the years before we had a fine performance, meeting a lot of friends, colleagues, publishers and, above all, highly interested readers and collectors there. Thanks to all for visiting our booth!
Also a big thank you to our guest artist Michael Zander (right). It was a joy to work with him.
Poste Aérienne is back at the Frankfurt Book Fair!
From 14th - 18th October we are happy to show our books, small press publications and fine art prints at this famous (and worlds biggest?) international book fair. We are especially proud to present our new silkscreen book MACHT MIR DEN TEUFEL NUR NICHT KLEIN and this year's guest artist, the very talented Michael Zander.
Welcome at our booth at hall 4.1, M39
- Poste Aérienne
PS. Thanks to C.Pom for the beautiful design of our book-fair-flyer!
I start to paint and sketch again in Antwerp city. Here some stuff. This year I can not make it to Frankfurt with Poste Aérienne unfortunately. But I hope to be there next year! Thanks to everyone who will be there to present our collective. Have fun!
A deal with the devil – a person offers his soul in exchange for diabolical favours – is a recurring cultural motif you can find in folktales all over the world, in novellas like Chamissos "Peter Schlemihl or in popular horror movies (remember Alan Parkers "Angel Heart"!).
In a new screen printing book by Poste Aérienne ten artists now reflect the faustian bargain by the means of the „black art“ of paper cut.
Four befriended artists – Bene Rohlmann, Michael Zander, Sung Hee Kim and Falk Nordmann – also contribute with really great artwork. Thanks to them!
This fine 16page silkscreen book (size 28 x 37 cm) is now available, printed on 250g paper from Hahnemühle, in a edition of 80 copies.
Best regards from Fumetto Comix Festival in Luzern, where we have a great time meeting Swiss collectors and artists from around the world. Small Press Heaven is a rich and very international event, with independent publishers from Australia, the UK, Italy, France, Germany and Belgium.
This weekend Poste Aérienne is invited to present books, silkscreen-art and something more at the renowned Fumetto Festival at Luzern, Switzerland. You can find our artist group at Small Press Heaven at the Festivalcenter Kornschütte – thanks to Andy Leuenberger!
We are really looking forward to meet you there!

A new, three-part paper cut. Inspired by traditional chinese paper cuts and by the marvellous book “The History of Chinese Folk Paper-Cut Arts”, but above all from my current work as a Guest-Professor for Illustration/Digital Illustration at the Jishou University
May be it would be nice to see some more artworks of the
Supalife-exhibition in Berlin in detail. Here are four from above thirty colorful
collages from Adrian Wylezol. All
pieces are nearly 20 x 30 cm. „Traumzeuge“, „Ghettoblaster!“ or „Hello, who are
you“ for example are titles of his collages shown in the Supalife Kiosk until the end of September.
Working with paper cuts, the „drawing“ with scissor and cutter, leads to an ongoing interplay between line and object, inside and outside, black and white, positive and negative, light and shadow (good and evil?). Indeed a thrilling play with dualism!
Now I've finished a fine paper cut (original size 53 x 41 cm) for a forthcoming Poste Aérienne Book project. More informations soon!
Poste Aérienne is a collective of mainly German and Belgian graphic artists.
Book art is our craft to bring you authentic and innovative illustration. We produce small press and unique books that you can find in selected bookshops, at the Frankfurt Book Fair and at Feuilles d'Art Artist Book Festival in Brussels.
